Our Story:

Our team started as processors, mortgage professionals, attorneys and investors that have over 200 years of collective lending experience. Most of us have experienced two recessions, a real estate and internet bubble, which have hurt our economy.  Today’s need for over-compliance and regulation have taken on a new system of doing business.  Here at Gold Mortgages we see our customers as family members, rather than customers.  In our family, everyone is equal and we all take care of each other. Our knowledge of the industry transcends traditional thinking.   Gold Mortgage Consultants are financial engineers that make and create opportunities for other families. Even though we are a new company, we have an old soul.  In our family you will see that the first chapter in the book of “wisdom” is “honesty”.

Our logo:

Our feeling is that sometimes life starts at the end of the season, instead of the beginning of the season, which is expressed in our logo.  The logo was inspired by a Robert Frost Poem called “Nature’s first Green is Gold”.  The oak tree on the logo represents Gold for the Fall season and Green for the summer season. Robert Frost poses a question to the reader that maybe there is a beginning and end to things in this life.  Appreciate your relationships and be present to the possibilities that life has to offer.  The oak tree represents stability, strength and longevity.  We at the Gold Mortgage family want our members to feel special, so we provide the structure of a conditional guarantee on pricing.  The Oak tree also represents our commitment to the community.  Gold Mortgages commits 5% of its net profit equally to the charity of your choice.  We believe the real truth and wisdom would be found in “giving” just as much; if not more than “receiving.”   The branches growing outside of our logo represent the creative intelligence and wisdom of our team.  “And we do think outside of the box”.

The circle represents the beginning and the end; the X and the O; giving and receiving; the start and the finish.  In short Robert Frost’s poem inspired Francis Ford Coppola with the movie “the outsider’s” which starred Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillion, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio and Thomas Howell. When your roaming around in our offices, It’s not uncommon, to hear them use one liners like: “Stay Gold Pony boy, Stay Gold”.

 “Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.”
